Swing/Lindy Hop classes focus on partner dancing, enabling dancers to use a range of 6 and 8 count classic moves to Jazz, Swing and Blues music. It originated in the 1920s in the African communities of Harlem, New York. Its roots were from the Charleston and a range of other dances. During the war years it was also known as Jitterbug.
Beginners 7.30pm to 8.30pm
Improvers 8.35pm to 9.30pm
All ages welcome. No partner necessary.
